The event setup & teardown associate will report to the Operations Manager.
Job Overview
As the Events Associate at Flatland Equipment and Tent Rentals, you will be trained to be the teamlead, working alongside of the Operational Manager & Warehouse Supervisor, with the responsibilities of setting up & tearing down of tents, tables, chairs, and other items as needed as part of a team. Packing company vehicles as part of the orders received from the customer service representative. We will provide training.

Administrative Assistant / Office Coordinator

Administrative Assistant/Office Coordinator
Reports To
The Administrative Assistant/Office Coordinator will report to the General Manager and work closely with the Event Team Lead as well as the Warehouse Manager.
Job Overview
For success in this position, you’ll need strong attention to detail, excellent customer service & communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Incoming calls – Receive and direct to the appropriate location. Receive, and document messages and direct them to the appropriate location. Assist in the requested information for the office.
- Use Microsoft Teams as your main source of communication inside the company.
- Work with the Marketing team & General Manager to provide quotes for events, weddings, and production clients.
- Outgoing calls – Follow up calls with clients, schedule event setups & takedowns, and schedule meetings for General Manager with production personnel.
- Coordinate calendars and communication for event setups and tear downs.
- Database Organization and Research – Assist in organizing and updating internal databases/company CRMs.
- Assist in inventory management tasks as needed.
- Able to work independently and able to meet deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school or Post-Secondary
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to work as a team
- Good customer service abilities. Must be able to communicate with clients in a respectful manner and make the client always feel welcome
- Able to read and communicate effectively in English
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract
- Professionalism – Must be able to maintain a professional manner while on the job. Follow all company policies (Health, harassment, safety, etc.) to maintain mutual respect between colleagues.

equipment while working with clients to create a beautiful space for their event. The Event staff
will keep the storage space clean and safe for working conditions. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service & communication skills.

- Steam Cleaning Tent Canopies & Sides
- Loading & unloading tent equipment according to Order Forms
- Cleaning work area (i.e., sweeping, disposing of garbage)

- Fluent in speaking & reading English
- Valid Driver’s License

Event Team Lead Position
Reports To
The Event Crew Manager will report to General Manager and/or Warehouse Manager.
Job Overview
The Event Team Lead will work with and guide the setup team to complete all event setups and
takedowns of tents, tables, chairs, dancefloor, and other items as well as load and unload
equipment. They will work with clients to fulfill orders and communicate with both the clients
and the office for any changes of the order.
They will help keep the warehouse space clean and safe for working conditions. They will work
with the office staff to help with the logistical planning of events.
Success in this position needs strong attention to detail, excellent customer service &
communication skills, and the ability to think fast on your feet.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Update and use Inventory Management Software
- Maintain an excellent level of cleaning for all equipment/tents
- Supervise the loading and unloading of event equipment
- Meet regularly with General Manager & Office Coordinator
Qualifications
- High school or post-secondary
- 2 yr. event/tent experience
- Strong attention to detail in paperwork
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work as part of the team. Their success is your success
